Hooorahhhhh!

Spent all day re-touching, re-masking, re-saving, re-editing, re-naming... and the above music station has got me through it. No caffeine needed, just tunes that make the heart keep pumping and the blood flowing... Possibly heard my favourite lyric of all time ... 'The woman does not speak, she knows the silence will speak for her.' That is one of the truest lyrics i've ever heard. Brilliant.

Went into the new Next store with Mum to see 'What's it all aboot then?' and it's pretty good. Nice mens section, good home section where I picked up a few bits for my bedroom and so on... I've suddenly hit a stage where I want to change everything in my room, it's currently looking a bit like a hotel room, which is good, though I don't have the tea/coffee making facilities or a biscuit or a trouser press or an iron or a spare pillow and blanket or a yellow pages or a local area guide or the one solitary stain on the carpet or creased bedsheets or the option to leave towels on the bathroom floor and they get taken away replaced and cleaned (damn that would be good though) . Maybe it's nothing like a hotel room then after all.

Chow for now amigos, re-dean!

I like to sit on my bed, music on and re-touch. It's quite new to me to be 'photoshopping' portraits. Normally I leave the 'model' style look to others. But Laura and Jan's photo's will be a first in that department. I'm guessing it will take me about six hours to prepare eight photographs for print. In the middle of that the glory hornet boys are on Sky Sports.

Today was a good day. Much better than yesterday. I hope you all have nice weekends, as you can see it's 7:08pm in good ol' England, let the weekend begin.

Got up at 7am and made myself some porridge with a nice glass of water followed closely by a pint of OJ. Decided I wanted to check out a possible location for a fashion shoot with Kerrie (local model) for both our portfolios. Willingham Woods is about a 30-minute drive and I sped down there early morning and walked..walked...walked... till I got so lost I couldn't even tell if I was in the same woods.

Eventually found my way out amongst the flies, spiders (huge!) and glorious shafts of light. It's a great location for any kind of shoot.

Work was pretty bad today. Got a telling off from Jade (see yesterday's entry) about (a) putting that photo up, (b) looking like death, not sleeping enough and having the most sporadic eating patterns possible and (c) for considering walking away from the biggest dream/wishes in my life. She may only be 3'6' (slight exageration) but she sure packs a punch!

Got home to watch my recording of the new Extras series to find it hadn't recorded properly and to top it off, I was in in time to watch it, I just thought i'd get a few jobs done seeing as 'it's recording anyway.'

My shots from today are posted on my Flickr.

Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I love the buzz from driving fast. I'm naughty I know :)

Had an 'interesting' day today. First day back to the 'office job' and it wasn't at all as I expected. I got pretty much 'trapped' in the upstairs office. It's like a 100 degrees C up there, and the job I was getting done up there was very very hot too. Safe to say i've had a nice cooling shower and i'm feeling refreshed and ready for tomorrow.

Time to check on my emails from the day, listen to the rest of Episode 4 of the 3rd series of The Ricky Gervais Podcast and hopefully grab a glass of Argento Red whilst I read my magazine.

If you're bored and you'd like to look at some cool videos online, check out these favourites of mine:

1. Boris J forgets which sport he's playing
2. Kids swearing in VW banned bollocks tv commercial
3. You might not like Cricket, you may not understand it, but this is KP bowling Harbhajan Singh and showing a little unsporting behaviour!
4. JH freestyles...this is how I felt today

It's our half-way point as they live near Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. It's a strange journey. Littered with death tolls on roads, dead animals plastered to the road, tractors, lorries and lots of green. I like the countryside. Even though i'm a city boy, I would love to live in the 'sticks'. To own a farm, convert barns into studios, have a few tractors to mess around in... One day. I've got 60 photo's to re-touch for The Favourites, could be up all night. I have a selection of red bull and coffee awaiting.

Though I must digress. I have a night of TV planned ahead. 7pm - The Match (its back,Sky One), 8pm - Robbie on the Road (Sky Two), 9pm til 1030pm (Little Britain, Catherine Tait Show & I'm with Stupid). Then I may consider getting back to the re-touching...though it's more likely i'll consider how to get me a life! Maybe i'll have a look in the NEXT catalogue.

Oh, pet hate before I go. Don't you just dislike queing for your money at a cash point. I was there today, waiting to see what I didn't have. Old lady in front of me asked if I could check her balance for her, so I pushed her over :)
